Important news concerning the cluster is sent out via email to the CMTHTYC Cluster email list (ph-cmthtyc-cluster-dl@imperial.ac.uk). Andy Thomas can add cluster workstation users to the list.

System news is kept in the file /common/info/news/cluster_news.rst. The headlines of the three most recent news items appear when you login via Xfce, a tty or ssh. The system news is also published via an RSS feed. In addition to the news that is sent out by email, this news file also contains more minor updates, such as new or updated software installed.
